Pro Lifecasting Course (Multi-Day Intensive)

Our flagship training course. Ideal if you want to build a strong, professional lifecasting business or elevate your existing work providing a variety of casting services.

You will learn:

• Couple & Baby casting (Container style)

• Memorial Casting (Shell style)

• Complex two-part castings

• Refining, repairs, and finishing

• Professional airbrushing (included)

• Working confidently with clients

You’ll complete multiple casts using live models and leave with the knowledge and confidence to offer high-quality work immediately.

This course is immersive, thorough, and designed to remove overwhelm, everything is explained clearly and methodically.

Body Casting Add-On

Perfect for artists looking to expand their offering with confident body casting.

This add-on course covers:

• Breast or bottom casting

• Working with larger forms

• Safe, professional body casting techniques

• Producing clean, finished body casts

We no longer typically offer body casting as a stand alone course. This is available as an add-on to our 5 day course. Additional hours are necessary and will be discussed at the time of enquiry.

Memorial Casting Course

A specialist course focused on the sensitive, respectful creation of memorial casts.

You’ll be guided through:

• Professional memorial hand casting

• Working calmly and respectfully in emotionally charged situations

• Techniques developed through real end-of-life experience

This course is suitable for beginners wishing to only offer memorial castings or experienced casters wishing to add memorial casting to their existing services. Please note that while our 5 day course covers memorial casting, the 3 day memorial casting covers a variety of molds and more in-depth learning tailored to memorial specific castings.

After having my sons hand and foot cast 3 years ago I’ve always held a love for casting.
The joy the finished product brought me, and still does, is indescribable.
I have in recent years become a single mum of 2 small children and so chasing a family friendly way of working, I decided this is my chance to make my dream a reality.

I am a funeral director and wanted to train in memorial castings so that I can offer this service to the families we care for. I had no previous casting experience other than having one carried out for myself when I suddenly lost my 16-year-old son. I explained to Lucy that this was the reason behind my wanting to train and she discussed all of my options with me even before I had decided I would attend the course. Nothing was too much bother for her and after a long discussion, we decided I would learn and benefit more from attending the whole 5-day course.
